SAMPLE VOWS

Exchanging of vows is such a vulnerable yet powerful part of your ceremony and your wedding day! You have the opportunity to set your intention for your married life and declare to your partner what you love about them and what you will promise them to get to that shared future.

SET YOUR INTENTION FOR YOUR MARRIED LIFE

There are many different formats and structures – read through and take note with what you connect with.

Below are examples. Feel free to use as is or amend to make them more personal to you. If you choose to read your vows to each other, I can print them for you and hand them to you during the ceremony. No need to memorise them!

HOT TIP: Remember you are reading the vows to the person not at them so make sure you connect with the words, pace yourself and look up.

The legal declaration that must be included in the ceremony follows your personal vows.
